Flambards is probably one of the best-known theme parks in Cornwall and is situated just outside the town of Helston on the south coast of the county. This award-winning family attraction has a whole host of exciting experiences to offer, from unique indoor attractions like the Victorian Village and the abundance of thrilling rides including the new and exciting ride ‘Sky-Force’.

Some of the best and most exhilarating rides in Cornwall can be found at Flambards, including the Thunderbolt, Skyraker, Sky Swinger, Hornet Rollercoaster and fun-filled Log Flume.

Created in 1976, the location started its life as a modest aviation museum set up by Douglas Kingsford Hale. Growing in popularity, the park has never looked back and now welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The park is so popular due to its diverse range of rides and attractions, meaning there truly is something for everyone, with rides for kids of all ages.

The blog Mudpie Fridays visited Flambards with her family recently and commented about her experiences on her blog: “My favourite thing about Flambards is that it is a theme park we can enjoy together as a family. Because of the age difference between the boys and so the height difference, we have visited theme parks before where we end up splitting up. Which although fun still, it is not exactly the family day out we had planned. What I really like about Flambards is that we did not have to do that. This made for a much more enjoyable day out for all of us.”
